Volunteer Opportunities

At Greater St. Paul Church, volunteering isn’t what we want from you, it’s what we want for you. Not what you have to do, but what you get to do. Because we are committed to excellence that glorifies God, we call our volunteer teams “eTeams”. Becoming part of an eTeam is simple. If you have an interest, you can count on us to help you find your ideal eTeam.

To volunteer with an eTeam, simply choose an eTeam below that interests you and sign up. Once you’ve chosen a team that interests you, you will be contacted and scheduled for your "Volunteer Orientation" meeting. The Volunteer Orientation Meeting is designed to help you find your place – your volunteering “sweet spot”. Next you'll commit to your volunteer opportunity. Your commitment will be based on the requirements of your specific eTeam.

Our eTeams are organized into five main areas:

ADMINISTRATION

If you enjoy behind-the-scenes roles, this may be the perfect fit for you. These volunteer opportunities are during the week (or on Sunday) at the church office, helping staff with administrative tasks and projects as they arise.

CAMPUS SUPPORT

If you enjoy assisting with operations, then Campus Support is for you. This group of volunteers assists in the operations of our church to ensure our campus facilities are running smoothly.

Set-Up (weekdays and Sunday)
Our weekly meetings, Sunday Celebration Services, and other events require that chairs, tables, flipcharts, water, and other items are in place. Most ministry meetings are held in the evenings during the week; but meeting rooms can be set-up earlier in the day if this works best for your schedule. Set-up of ministry tables and other items for Sunday Celebration Services starts at 6:00am and must be completed by 7:00am. Set-up for other ministry events is scheduled as needed.
Age Requirement: 16 and older

Janitorial Services (weekdays, Sunday, and special projects)
Keeping our facilities clean is of primary importance. Volunteers on this team will assist our janitorial staff with vacuuming, mopping, waxing, maintaining the grounds, and other duties required to keep our church clean. You can sign-up to assist with special projects during the week, cleaning the Main Sanctuary between and after Celebration Services on Sunday, cleaning the Fellowship Hall after Pastor’s Café closes, cleaning the restrooms between services, and other duties as assigned.

Security
We want everyone who comes to our church to feel secure during the time they spend with us. Volunteers on this team will assist our security staff with patrolling our parking lots and other areas of our campus, and other related duties as assigned.

In all positions, you will required to be on-site well in advance of scheduled services and events.
